"I have always been fascinated by the ocean and light. My photographs are moody seascapes, with forms of boats in the mist, stormy seas, long swells and breaking waves. My images can also be quiet studies; leading lines of coastline with the Narragansett Towers, a placid sea at the Point Judith or Beavertail lighthouse, the color of a clearing sky, a double rainbow the glow before sunset, or reflective sunrise. I explore the beaches of Little Compton, Wickford, Newport and Watch Hill often in winter, when cold winds blow across desolate stretches of rocky shore. Each day, light is unique it is my joy to bear witness to this miracle."
