Many successful photographs rely more on the fact that the photographer saw something the rest of us missed and used the camera settings to capture the feeling in a photograph. How can we develop visual sensitivity to expand our way of seeing, and letting go of preconceived ways of making images? This class explores new ways of using the camera through in-class field exercises, critique, reading and writing about our creative process. Knowledge of your camera is essential.
