An old farmhouse with peeling paint, faded shingles and rotten sills is the backdrop for an image that is all about growth and fertility. Wisteria is one of my favorite flowering natural occurring plants in the spring. It symbolizes rebirth, beauty, and resilience. To have both the musty aging man made dwelling juxtaposed with the fragrant blossoms of these hanging vines is the object of the photograph.
