Announcing Profundo Journeys Cuba 2017

A Camaguey Side StreetA Camaguey Side Street with Bus, Camaguey, Cuba

Join us for our 5th Cuba photography trip, January 9 - 19, 2017. This year, once again, our itinerary will take us through a variety of places off the beaten path, where we can more intimately experience the rich, vibrant culture that is uniquely Cuban, her landscape and culture. We fly from Miami to Camaguey with extended visits in Camaguey, Gibara, Baracoa and finally, Havana. Please see the proposed itinerary below for details.

The photography opportunities in Cuba are myriad, from historic colonial architecture, vibrant colorful culture, to natural ecosystems of rainforests and UNESCO protected habitats. Take a morning walk along the Malecon, Havana's famous seawall; experience small fishing villages, shaded elegant plazas, narrow streets full of Cuban music and life, and of course, the classic American cars, preserved in their 1940 & 50's vintage. The Cuban people are friendly and love meeting and sharing their lives with Americans. You will meet artists and musicians, fishermen and Cuban photographers. Your everyday needs will be met, allowing you the time to consider and make wonderful images. All this adds up to an immersive experience not to be forgotten.

This ten night & 11 day journey includes your hotels in Cuba, breakfasts, six lunches and three dinners, round trip flights from the US to Cuba, private coach, our favorite full time Cuban guide and the photography instruction of Cindy Wilson.

The tuition for double occupancy is $4450, single occupancy $5250.

The workshop is limited to 12 participants.
