 A Light and Landscape Photography Workshop

Have you ever imagined traveling with your camera to the remote 

Hebrides Islands, waking up with the sunrise and following

the changing light through the day?


Join David Pinkham and Cindy Horovitz Wilson and a small 

group of fellow travelers to islands, castles and mountains in the 

dramatic and beautiful west coast of Scotland. 

This workshop will focus on landscape and travel photography

techniques, with instruction and critique throughout.

We have partnered with a well established local driver/guide service to

ensure hotel bookings and transportation.

Our guide will have full knowledge of the planned destinations

as well as surprises in between!

Local culture and history  will complete the immersion in order to

understand our surrounding and make beautiful photographs. 

 

 Following is the tentative itinerary for the workshop:

September 9,10 - Explore Edinburgh (2 nights) and join David and Cindy for a welcome dinner

 

September 11 - travel through Glencoe to Oban for the ferry to the Isle of Mull

and Inner Hebrides for the first of two nights

 

September 12 – Explore the Isle of Mull

 

 September 13 - The Isle of Skye 

 September 14 – The Isle of Skye

 September 15 – The Isle of Skye

 

September 16 - Ullapool a charming harbor town North West Coast

 

September 17 – Ullapool

 

September 18 - Edinburgh (1 night) closing dinner

 

September 19 – Departure day

 

Each of these destinations offers numerous opportunities to photograph the

timeless beauty, historic castles, dramatic coastline, pristine beaches and small

fishing villages of the West Coast of Scotland. 

Tuition: $4595 (based on 2018 rates) includes lodging (3 & 4 star hotels),

daily breakfast, private van transportation, ferry crossings, private guide services,

welcome and farewell dinners and hands on photography instruction. Single lodging available

 

A $1200 deposit ensures your seat 

Maximum students: 12 Minimum students: 8

 

Hotels in Scotland fill up quickly and reservations for even a small group such

as ours need to made well in advance by our tour guide to ensure availability.
