Experience the untamed beauty of the Olympic National Park and surrounding coastal Washington State and create beautiful photographs! You will see a beautiful part of the country, one that is held dear in the hearts of those who have explored the trails, beaches and protected wilderness. And, with the careful guidance and instruction of two professional photographers, your technical and creative expertise will expand and flourish.

The Olympic National Park in coastal Washington State has dramatic landscapes of snow capped mountains cascading into the sea, forested wilderness, lush rainforests with waterfalls, secluded empty beach with haystack formations among other highlights. The workshop begins in Susquamish adjacent to Bainbridge Island. We use this area as a jumping off point to explore Seattle and the local Puget Sound waterfront. We then travel to the Olympic National Park, starting in Port Angeles, and daily driving deeper into the park, staying in local resorts.

Join Cindy Wilson and local Kingston based landscape photographer John Abromowski for this coastal, rain-forest, landscape and black & white (optional) photography tour & workshop. Days will feature sunrise opportunities, sites selected for their visual appeal, demonstration, slide shows, group discussion and critique. As an added feature, students will have access to film cameras and black and white 'wet' darkroom facilities, as well as inkjet printers.

Experience level: All those with an interest in the outdoors, travel and photography are invited.

Tuition: $3150 includes all lodging, two meals, entry fees and instruction. A proposed itinerary can be seen at www.profundojourneys.com
