Vietnam: the Far North
A Landscape and Cultural Photography Workshop

Join photographers Cindy and Yang-Vuong Lien Duong on a journey to the exotic highlands in the far north of Vietnam. The workshop coincides with the time of the rice harvest. Lush green fields are transformed to gold and solitary figures in multi color woven attire are seen harvesting the contoured terraces.
This custom itinerary takes you to remote mountain passes, past towering karst peaks, inland crystal clear lakes, waterfalls, and mysterious caves. There are many opportunities to visit and photograph the authentic local culture in small minority villages.
A trip to the north of Vietnam would not be complete without time in Hanoi. There is time built in at the beginning and end of the trip to explore this lively, dense & traditional capital city.
Old and new, oriental tradition, courageous past and modern presence are all mixed to give Northern Vietnam a multi faceted image. Immerse yourself creatively in the sights, fragrances and sounds in this exciting opportunity to explore this remote and exotic region of Asia.
